Dan and I arrived home from work yesterday afternoon to a very pleasant (and very large) surprise — somebody had purchased the wine refrigerator we put on our registry from Bed Bath & Beyond and had it shipped to our house. The problem? Nowhere on or in the box did it include documentation as to who it came from! Did any of you out there in cyberspace purchase this generous gift? Please let us know so that we can thank you properly!

EDIT: I discovered later in the day that the fridge was a gift from everyone in my office, but it wasn’t supposed to have arrived until later this week, AFTER the surprise bridal shower my co-workers threw me this afternoon! A hearty “thank you” to everyone who organized it and were generous enough to contribute toward my gifts. In addition to the wine fridge, I received several bottles of wine, a crystal Tiffany vase, and more!

Today Dan and I spent five hours in Bed Bath & Beyond, traversing every inch of the store with our amazingly patient and knowledgeable store adviser, Todd. The end result? We have a registry! We’ve got everything from “casual china” and crystal wine glasses to bedsheets for our yet-to-be-purchased king-size bed, a beer dispenser, and a mango cutter (yes, you read that correctly). Despite some sore legs now, we had a lot of fun!
